Dr. Cynthia Wojcicki

Dr. Cynthia Wojcicki is a native of Amesbury. She graduated from Amesbury High School and then earned a BS in Zoology from the University of Massachusetts. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 1987. Since then she has been working as a veterinarian in the area. She purchased MVAH in 1998. She has interests in dermatology and geriatric medicine. She enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family on the coast of Maine. She has 2 children and several pets including Tootsie the Shih Tzu who comes to work at MVAH nearly every day. She is married to Dr. Frank Marchell who also works at MVAH.

Dr. Frank Marchell

Dr. Frank Marchell is a native of Ithaca, NewYork. He received both a BS in Animal Sciences in 1978 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1987 from Cornell University. He has been working as a veterinarian in the area since graduation. He is an owner of Piscataqua Animal Hospital in Kittery, Maine. He has special interests in surgery and information systems. He enjoys watching Red Sox baseball and Celtics basketball, watching his children play on sports teams, and family time.

Our Staff

Starting on the left is Kimberly Orme. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician and has worked at MVAH since 1997. She is the main surgical technician but she also provides technical care of all patients.

Third from the left is Christina McMahon who is also a Certified Veterinary Technician. She joined MVAH in 2007. Christina has a special interest in dental care.

Christina and Kim expertly perform all treatments recommended by the doctors. MVAH is very fortunate to have such experienced and caring licensed technicians.

Second from the left is Michelle Smith. She has been at MVAH since 1991. She is the head receptionist as well as administrative assistant to Dr. Wojcicki. After nearly 20 years Michelle can answer ANY question you have.

Second from the right is Katelyn Fish. She is our technician assistant. She happily assists Kim and Christina with patient care. In addition, she is responsible for keeping the hospital clean and odor free. Katie has been at MVAH since 2006.

On the far right is Christie Balaam. She provides technical and reception assistance which means she happily assists Kim, Christina, AND Michelle. Christie has worked at MVAH since 2001.
